Guacamole

Original Recipe Yields 3 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe Hass avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 jalapeno, chopped
  • 1 handful fresh cilantro leaves, roughly chopped
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Drizzle of olive oil

Directions:

  1. Halve and pit the avocados. With a tablespoon, scoop out flesh of the avocado and place in a mixing bowl. Mash the avocados with a fork, leaving them still a bit chunky.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients, and mix or fold everything together.
  3. Place plastic wrap on top of guacamole (so it doesn't brown) and chill in refrigerator before serving.
