Spaghetti and Turkey Meatballs

Spaghetti and Turkey Meatballs

Original Recipe Yields 6 Servings

Your favorite gluten-free sauce or

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 large can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of crushed garlic
  • Minced onion
  • 1 T olive oil
  • Salt, pepper, oregano, and basil to taste

Directions:

  1. Saute garlic and minced onion in olive oil
  2. Add crushed tomatoes and paste. Add crushed garlic. Let simmer while you make meatballs.

Meatball Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 2 tsp. sea salt
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • ¾ cup gluten free breadcrumbs soaked in almond milk (or coconut or rice milk)
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 2 egg whites
  • Italian spices

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together with hands.
  2. Form small balls and drop into sauce, cover and simmer for approximately 1 hour, while stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve over your favorite gluten-free pasta.
